Hoe vind je de beste non-fungible tokens (NFT’s)? Waar moet je precies naar kijken? Vandaag spreek ik met Jaap van het NFT- en metaverse-project Vulcan Forged. Jaap vertelt ons op een heel begrijpelijke manier hoe de wereld van NFT’s er op dit moment uit ziet en waar deze wereld in de toekomst naartoe gaat. We spreken over play-to-earn-projecten waarbij je geld kunt verdienen door games te spelen. En we kijken naar de belangrijkste factoren waar je naar kunt kijken voordat je een non-fungible token koopt.
Zelf denk ik dat NFT’s veel groter zullen zijn dan het nu is. Bij NFT’s denken we nu voornamelijk aan plaatjes die verhandeld worden. Maar NFT’s kunnen op veel verschillende manieren worden gebruikt.
Bij Vulcan Forged hebben ze verschillende games waarin je jouw NFT’s kunt gebruiken. Je kunt ze ook van de ene game naar de andere sturen. En je kunt dus ook geld verdienen door te gamen. Door dit soort functies denk ik dat NFT’s nog weleens mainstream zouden kunnen gaan. Dit zie ik zelf al om me heen gebeuren. ‘Normale’ gamers stappen in de wereld van play-to-earn en vinden het geweldig dat ze eindelijk geld kunnen verdienen met gamen.
